Sierra's Wedding - A Vintage Rental Dream!

Lets talk about my personal favorite wedding...mine! B and I got married on a ridiculously hot sunny June day, and we wouldn't have changed a thing!
We got married at Upper Fort Garry Park in Winnipeg. This park is volunteer run and they actually didn't charge us a thing to use the space. One small caveat is that you will have to make sure you have stantions or signs to block off the space so pedestrians don't interrupt your ceremony. But, minor details, right?!
We loved the history of the space as well as the Fort remnants that were the backdrop for our ceremony. We only invited immediate family and friends, and although we caught a lot of backlash for that decision from loved ones who were not a part of the day, our wedding was about us, and it was exactly what we wanted.

The first thing we did when we took our places, was walk over to our signing table and light a memory candle. We wrote the names of all our loved ones who have passed on and were unable to be at our wedding on the candle, and lit it before the ceremony began. We wanted a way to honour these people, and liked the idea that the lit candle symbolized them all being with us throughout the ceremony.
Outfit details: My dress was from Stella's Bridal. It's Willoby by Watters in the style "Kimberly". Alterations were expertly done by Adrianne Hill Bridal. My headpiece was my grandmothers, and the veil I purchased secondhand and hand dyed to match my off-white dress. My purse was my grandmothers that she wore to my parents wedding, over 40 years ago! My boots are from Free People and sadly, they don't make them anymore.
B's suit jacket is from Tip Top Tailors. He wore black dress pants he already owned, a hand made bolo tie I gifted him, and a dress shirt from Amazon (ew, I know, but trust me we tried to find an off-white option locally)! B's cowboy boots were gifted to him from my father. They were his fathers, which means they're on to the third generation of our family!
B's wedding band was my mom's grandpa's. My wedding band was B's grandma's. My engagement ring is vintage and purchased from A & A Jewellers. They have a great selection of estate jewelry and are fabulous to work with! I also got B's wedding band engraved here.
I'm happy to offer many of the items used at my wedding for rent! This includes all the rugs, vases & arrangments, signing table, wooden lantern, as well as the glassware & vases used at our reception (pictured below).
